  • Rest in Peace Joe Fallahay

    We mourn the loss of Joe Fallahay, a long-standing volunteer and supporter of the Franciscan Kitchen. Joe was one of the original helpers recruited by Brother Jim Fields to launch Franciscan Shelter House in a vacant tavern on Preston St. in 1980.     Since Gov. Beshear has advised Kentuckians to follow the CDC recommendations regarding mask-wearing indoors and many area businesses are requiring the practice, we will also require that all volunteers and guests wear a mask indoors.
